Richard Darbourne Ltd (RDL)
RDL is a freelance, commercial theatre and events production company run by Richard Darbourne. Recent projects produced and managed by RDL include: All That Fall, a radio play by Samuel Beckett, directed by Trevor Nunn and starring Eileen Atkins and Michael Gambon (West End in 2012 and New York in 2013); The Three Musketeers and El Matador, A Close Christmas Shave both by Barbershopera (DIMF Festival, South Korea, Theatre Royal Plymouth and UK Tour); Soldiers' Wives by Sarah Daniels (UK Tour); London 2012 Olympic Victory Ceremonies Producer (Excel, O2, Artillery Barracks, Earls Court).
2014 projects include: Avenue Q (UK Tour), Pride and Prejudice adapted by Two Bit Classics (UK Tour) and Toni and the Guys by Barbershopera (Taiwan, Singapore and UK Tour).
Richard also helped devise and produce the shows Unmythable and Out of Chaos with Temple Theatre, a company he co-founded with Mike Tweddle and Paul O'Mahony in 2006.
As a creative workshop leader, Richard set up Living Learning in 2007 with Paul O'Mahony (www.living-learning.org) a company that writes plays and workshops to inspire confidence in mathematics, classics and languages.
